About Cathy
I have loved sewing since I was a little girl. I remember my Grandmothers and Mother sewing all the time. All three were beautiful seamstresses and very gifted in their own specialties. They have always been an inspiration to me.
My earliest memories of sewing come from hemming "tea towels". (Actually they were feed sacks; funny they called them tea towels and not dish towels). The "tea towels" provided a very good lesson in learning the value of a straight seam.
The only thing I ever wanted to do "when I grew up" was to be a wife, Mother and seamstress. My Dad informed me I couldn't make enough money by doing that, and suggested that I find something else to earn a living. I can remember the disappointment of not being able to fulfill my dream of being a seamstress.
I did get part of that dream though, I did become a wife, and then mother of 4 daughters. I sewed when time and money would allow. As the girls grew and our schedules got busier, my sewing hours decreased. When my last daughter left the nest, I realized I needed to find something to fill my empty hours again. I purchased a new machine (boy did they change after several years) and decided to take classes to find out what else was new in the sewing world.
I took smocking and heirloom sewing classes and found a new love and passion. After only sewing for little girls most of my life, God challenged me with my first three grandsons. Not to give in, I began to sew traditional little boy outfits for them. Then thankfully the little girls began to arrive and I could return to sew cute, frilly, smocked little dresses again. I can truthfully say that I love sewing for both boys and girls, but can't resist the cute little girls dresses and christening gowns.
After losing my job of 13 years in 2009, I knew that God had finally intervened and gave me the opportunity to make the my dream come true. It's time I use the talents he has given me. So, I am now sewing full time for friends, family and hopefully for you ... my new friends.

Vintage Inspirations
All vintage and heirloom garments are made with very high quality heirloom materials and French imported laces. All garments are made and hand-smocked by me. Please allow 8 - 10 weeks for all heirloom pieces. No garment will be started until payment is secured. All heirloom pieces are non-refundable.
Material color and smocking patterns will vary depending availability and on your wishes. Prices may vary slightly due to costs of materials/laces, and complexity of smocking design. Please contact Cathy directly by phone or email to discuss what you have in mind.

Ordering Information
1. How long will it take to receive my order? Since most orders are handmade, please allow 2-4 weeks delivery time, unless specifically stated otherwise. If you need an "urgent" order (forgot about the baby shower this weekend?), please contact me via telephone at 314-605-5546. I would be happy to help save the day!
2. Is special care required for laundering? I use quality fabrics in all of my designs. You may machine wash the garments in cool water, on gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low temp. Cool iron if necessary. Bows on dresses may be removed prior to washing. Heirloom designs are made of the finest heirloom quality materials available.
3. Can you gift wrap? Many of our products are gifts for someone special. I woudl be happy to wrap and ship your gift according to your instructions. Please make a note of the shipping address when ordering.
4. What is your return policy? Your satisfaction is very important to me. Please keep in mind that dresses are hand crafted and therefore slight variances may occur. Colors shown on the website may vary due to computer monitor settings. If the exact fabric or ribbon is no longer available, I will substitute it for one comparable. If you find that you need to return your purchase, I would be happy to extend credit for another item.

A summery black and white polka dot pique with Hot Pink or Neon Green ribbon and bow at chest and with matching covered buttons.
A frilly, yet classic version of the A-Line featuring either green with white polka dots or white with green polka dots with a contrasting ruffle and covered buttons.
When you think of Spring and Summer, we think of little girls in white linen dresses. I have given this classic design a new twist and added a bit of color and flair with ribbons, bows and matching covered buttons at shoulders. The fabric is a polyester/cotton blend that washes and dries with minimal wrinkling - provides the look and feel of linen with less care required

These little bubbles in both bishop and yoke style are a great addition to your
little one's ensemble. These patterns can be made for girls or boys. You choose
the basic color and accent color then I will create a darling outfit, sure to steal the
show.

Sundress with Smocked Tabs & Shoulders
What a refreshing and classic way to spend your spring and summer than in this
darling little sundress. You choose the basic color and accent color and I will
create a beautiful memory for your child.

Bishop Style Dresses
This beautiful little bishop style dress is a perfect selection for infants. The easy
front closure makes dressing those little ones with ease. Beautifully constructed
with french seams, french lace and attention given to every detail. Additional
embroidery down the front band is available on the Missy style at an additional cost.
You choose the basic color and accent color then I will creat a darling outfit, sure
to catch everyone's eye.

All bonnets are constructed of the finest heirloom quality material, laces
and ribbons. White is usually the traditional color, however, a bonnet may be
made out of any color and smocking design and color will accent and enhance
the fabric choices.

A beautiful and memorable way to remember that special occasion in your little
one's life. This little garment long legged and sleeved with bands on both. It also
has a high yoke with buttons in back and round collar with a snapped crotch.

The Classic A-Line Dress
A-line dresses are fine baby wale cordury and fully lined in coordinating fabrics.
These dresses are great for finishing out the winter/spring months. They look
great with short or long sleeves. Color choices and sizes are limited, and some

Contemporary Style Pillowcase Dress
Contemporary Pillowcase Dresses are a modern twist on an old fashioned style.
Formerly an every item worn by children, it is a fresh design meant to be worn
any season by adding layers such as long sleeve shirts and leggings. Very
comfortable - an outfit that every little girl will want to wear!

Navy corduroy lined bodice, navy/lavender/light blue floral print skirt finished
with a lavender pindot band at the bottom of the dress. Lvender grosgrain
ribbon serves as ties at the shoulders. Wear with long or short sleeve top for
winter and spring.
Baby blue corduroy lined bodice, pink/blue floral print skirt finished with a
pink gingham check band at the bottom of the dress. Bubble gum pink
grosgrain ribbons tie at the shoulders. Can be worn with or without a shirt.
